Trino Installation Introduction
Audience: System Administrators
Content Summary: This page provides an overview of the native Trino integration and installation for Starburst Enterprise and other Trino clusters.
See the Trino Plugin Release Notes for the current supported versions.
Trino Installation Overview
The Immuta Trino integration uses an Immuta plugin into Trino clusters. An administrator will create an
immuta
database for the Trino plugin to work through.
When users query the immuta
database, Immuta intercepts and applies policy decisions to the query
before returning the results to the user as a view.
