# Manage Project Members

**Requirement**: You must own the project

## Edit a member role

1. On the **Members** tab, click the **Role** of the member whose role you want to change.
2. Select a different role: **subscribed** or **owner**.

## Remove members from a project

1. On the **Members** tab, click the **Deny** button next to the user or group you want to remove.
2. Complete the **Reasoning** field in the window that appears, and then click **Submit**.
