Notifications

Learn how Immuta notifications help you keep track of events from data consumers and data governors

The Govern app offers notifications to keep you informed of events from your data consumers, data owners, and data governors. These notifications provide timely updates on policy changes and actions occurring within the Govern app. The following notification options are available:

• Email notifications: These notifications are available to send tri-daily notifications about events within the Govern app. See the guide to Enable email notifications.
• Webhooks: These notifications can be scoped to send webhooks when specific actions happen within the Govern app. See the guide to Create a webhook.
• Monitors: These notifications can be configured to monitor for specific user actions within thresholds of acceptability and send specific webhooks when those actions occur past the thresholds. See the guide to Manage a monitor.
• In-app notifications: These notifications can be found in the Activities icon in the UI or through the /activity endpoint.

The Request app also offers several types of notifications for activity within the Request app.
