Entra ID - Importing Groups via SCIM

The purpose of this article is to provide instructions on how to import Groups into Immuta from Entra ID

This article assumes that you have a functional Immuta IAM integration with SAML/SCIM enabled.

Importing Groups into Immuta via SCIM

  1. Navigate to your Enterprise Application for Immuta in Entra ID

  2. Select the Users and groups tab on the left side

  3. Select Add user/group on the top bar

    1. On the next screen select None Selected under the Users and groups section

    2. On the pop-up window, search for and select Groups that you want to be imported into Immuta

    3. Click Select at the bottom of the page

    4. Select Assign at the bottom left of the page

  4. Groups and the Users within those Groups will be imported to Immuta during the next incremental SCIM sync

If the Groups do not appear in Immuta after the next incremental sync has taken place, then it's recommended to select Restart Provisioning in Entra ID on the Provisioning page. This will cause Entra ID to refresh it's stateful set.
